@snarkybiochemist: Never heard of that! But hey, pineapple is delicious! Be careful though, when I eat enough of it, I end up with mouth sores.
@bizwitch: I'm sorry you're going through all this. I don't know what it's like to be on clomid, so I'm glad some folks on here are able to shed some light about it for you. Sending you so much hugs!

@snarkybiochemist: what is the pineapple for? Do you have to eat the whole thing or some specific part?
nectarine / 2180 posts
@azjax: Pineapple is really high in the enzyme bromelain which can promote implantation because it is an anti-inflammatory and anti-coagulant. Apparently starting the day or two after ovulation you are supposed to eat 1/5 of a pineapple (core included)

@snarkybiochemist: interesting! I'll def keep that in mind for the next cycle. Thanks for sharing!

@bizwitch: agreed worst parts of clomid for me were crazy mood swings and the hot flashes. I think it was worst the week you take it and the end of the cycle as things wind down. I hope it works for you to make up for the downsides!!

AF is finally here after keeping me waiting and making me feel like absolute crap all week. On to cycle 7. I may be able to POAS on 2/28 so I will hang out here with you ladies. I feel like every cycle has been harder physically as well as emotionally.

@Synchronicity: How are you holding up? You're not too far away from testing, right?

@Synchronicity: Your chart is looking amazing! When do you plan on testing?
grapefruit / 4089 posts
@mrskansas: I was told by a lovely bee that my chart looks triphasic, which could be a really good sign (or could be nothing, who knows!). I'm feeling cautiously hopeful but trying to keep it reined in since I'm only 9dpo!
The link to my chart is somewhere on this thread....

@bananasareyellow: I was told by two lovely bees** (correcting my last post, lol!).
I'm going to test tomorrow morning! Hopefully 10dpo will be good to me and show me a second line!

@mrskansas: Impressive, 8 DPO is always where I start to waiver on testing or not
@Synchronicity: Good luck I hope you get a positive tomorrow
@jhd: sorry, take care of yourself this weekend

So I had posted earlier about how I think I have a bacterial infection, and I changed my diet slightly this week and wonder if that could have caused it. I usually eat greek yogurt at least 5 days a week in my morning smoothie. I'm vegetarian and am always looking for ways to make my diet more ethical - and ethical dairy is EXPENSIVE - so this week I tried chia seeds soaked in coconut milk which turns into a yogurt consistency and works well in a smoothie. Plus it's cheaper and you need way less of it because it's thicker than yogurt. Anyway do you ladies think it's possible that taking yogurt out of my daily diet would have made that much of a difference in my vaginal bacteria? Sorry if this is TMI as it's not directly POAS-related, but I'd love your thoughts on this.

@bizwitch: I wouldn't be surprised! Before I had my daughter, I would get yeast infections every month before my period like clock work. A girl I worked with suggested eating yogurt daily and when I added that in, voila, no more yeast infections!

@Synchronicity: no willpower did you good congrats I see a line

@mrskansas: Thanks. I will try adding yogurt back in and probably also consume other probiotics like kombucha and sauerkraut. Maybe it will clear up on its own! I hope so since I can't get a gyn appointment til Monday.
