@Freckles: Or anxiety! wait with me! For some reason, maybe b/c I feel like I have no real chance this month, I am not in a hurry to test. I almost don't want to at all, to avoid seeing a BFN. I think if I did everything "right" and knew exactly when I O'd in a cycle then I would be antsy to test asap.
honeydew / 7444 posts
@snowjewelz: I didn't do OPKs this month and i regret it. But my cycles are pretty regular and i *think* i know my body to know when my fertile period is. I keep telling myself when i got a BFP for LO, i got a BFN when i tested early so there may be hope!

I came home to a giant box of FRERs, courtesy of Amazon. Thanks. Tonight I will be drinking all of the wine and catching up on Grey's in my pjs.

@septca: aww:-( crappy timing, amazon:-(. Enjoy your wine and Grey's. McDreamy makes it all better!

Ugh! Just got hit by a wave of major blues. I think maybe the stress from partial weaning combined with my son teething and being 6DPO are just too much for me today. I feel like its my 10th cycle not my 2nd. Pathetic.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@MrsMccarthy: that's how I am today too. I've been negative nancy all day!
kiwi / 745 posts
@MrsMcCarthy I'm sorry. I'm having that kind of day too - I'm only 10DPO but any "symptoms" I've been having have mostly subsided so I'm already counting myself out for this cycle. I'm trying to just practice a lot of self-care today - I've been trying to take it easy since I got home and I'm going to take myself to the gym to burn off some extra energy or whatever I seem to have going on as my body figures itself out. Can you do something nice for yourself tonight? And I hope your son gets his teeth soon!

@snowjewelz: there's something going on in the cosmos eh?
@Ms.Mermaid: it ain't over until its over but that's how I feel too. I hope that we are are both wrong!

@MrsScottish: I'm a little late, but congrats mama!! So happy for you!

BDing on Sofa. Not a good idea. Swimmers are too fast and try to escape.
I asked DH how he felt about EOD. I thought he would be exhausted... He says....
"Well...."
"Maybe when you are not fertile we can do it every day."
EXCUSE ME?! Says the man that only had sex with me like SIX times in the ENTIRE year of 2013. Seriously. 6 times. I kid you not.

@littlek: just feeling very overwhelmed right now. Ttc, teething, trying to partially wean without fully weaning but still get pregnant somehow, insurance matters. I'm sure you can relate to some of this.
@HolisticMama: that's so awesome!! He is really getting into the spirit of things.
persimmon / 1167 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Yeah. I think DH really started hoping we were pregnant last month with that weirdo cycle. I think he was disappointed when we weren't so now he is fully on board.
I've been thinking about you. I wish I wasn't so busy today, but I left something special on your wall.

@septca: :: hugs :: I'm sorry I couldn't get on here earlier to say that...hm...well that freaking sucks. I'm sorry you are feeling cruddy. (It's really hard for me not to cus for you. Every since watching True Blood, I have a pretty serious potty mouth.)

@MrsMccarthy: AF hasn't shown, right? Try not to be too tough on yourself.
nectarine / 2079 posts
@MrsMccarthy: I totally feel you. Weaning has sent my hormones into overdrive. I also feel like one unsuccessful cycle means we won't be successful for like a year. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day!

Ummmmmmmm...........so the FRER was positive, so since I had used a cup, I went ahead and took a $tree test to confirm (I will take a digital in a couple of days.) (Is there any reason not to do that? It made sense to me at the time.)
My husband is away right now so now I'm plotting how to tell him.

@Ms.Mermaid: Congratulations!! Those are some great looking lines!!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: congrats! That line is dark enough it should show as "pregnant" on the digital or you can save your $10 and buy something cute for a baby!!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: Yay! Congratulations!!!
@MrsMccarthy: How are you feeling today? Today's 7 DPO, right? Any signs of AF?? I really hope your LP is a lot longer this time (and you have a BFP so you don't see AF for many more months)!!!
honeydew / 7968 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: wooooo! Congrats! I like to see the actual words pregnant lol. But u really don't need it.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
Took another OPK today and it was still pretty stark white. Although maybe there was the faintest hint of a line?? haha - I'm a nut. Though I take it in the morning, so probably doesn't help. I'm just going to keep on keeping on and hope for the best.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Adira: weird. I test in the morning and get positive OPKs. What CD are you?
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@littlek: Oh! That's encouraging! This is my first cycle using them, so I may just be no where near ovulating to see anything yet. I'm CD 26.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Adira: when did you start testing with OPK? Maybe you missed surge?
kiwi / 745 posts
Thanks everyone! I already have a two-pack of digital tests, so I figure there is no harm in taking one.
Also, I've been up since 4am wandering around going, "WHAT DO I DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO?" I'm pretty sure the next step is to call my OB, right? Besides, y'know, tell my husband.
FX for everybody else!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@littlek: I only started the other day (CD 24), but I'm also temping and checking CM and CP, so I know I haven't ovulated yet! Last cycle I didn't ovulate until CD 36, so I'm expecting more of the same.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@littlek: Oh, this is totally new for me! My cycles pre-baby were 28-29 days and I'd ovulate CD 14-16. Last cycle was my first postpartum and it was ridiculously long. This one is looking to be similar! I'm HOPING that they'll go back to normal at some point...
