@YogiRunner: The HSG can only help you! There have been a lot of HB positives after HSGs! That did not happen for me, but I hope it does for you...and @AmeliaBedlia: ! A heads up, definitely take ibuprofen beforehand...it is not pleasant, but luckily very short! Good luck to you both!

@sarahnicole218 So good to know, thank you! And I will definitely be popping that ibu an hour before. Thanks again for your advice and well wishes So nice to chat with ladies who have been through it, understand, and can offer pointers. Very thankful for you and HB!

Sadly I was not one of the lucky ones after my HSG cycle, AF showed right on time. Just got back from my Caribbean vacation though so at least I had that to console me

@MrsKRB: Ugh, AF! I'm sorry! I wasn't an HSG lucky one either...

@AmeliaBedilia: hi lady, dropping in to say lots of with your HSG. I'm really glad I had one, though it wasn't that pleasant for me. I was one of the lucky ones who got pg the 2nd cycle after the HSG. Fx for you!

Hope your HSG also goes well, @YogiRunner:

@sarahnicole218: I read your post on the IF board & didn't want to crash that one, necessarily, but sending you lots of good thoughts for your implant. I hope this is your cycle, dear!

Wishing all you 6mo plus ladies all the best, & babies all around!

Thanks ladies! The HSG went fine. The tubes filled slowly, but the doc thought that was because some dye was leaking out rather than a blockage. He said everything looked fine. It wasn't too bad, and now I'm relaxing while watching TV and surfing the net.

@AmeliaBedilia: Glad it went well! Here's hoping you get some HSG-BFP magic!

@MrsKRB: I'm sorry about AF but a Caribbean vacation sounds wonderful!

Hey ladies! Sorry I have been MIA for a while. My new job has me busy but I think of you all so often.

Big news on my end! I am about 7 weeks pregnant. Haven't been to the doctor yet--first appointment is about two weeks away. In case y'all don't remember my story...we tried for about 20 cycles, DH's SA was normal, my HSG was clear. Got pregnant on my second round of clomid--about 3 cycles after my HSG. After all those failed cycles of feeling so many symptoms, this time I had none and have had very little symptoms since. Nausea that I can pretty much talk myself into believing it's all in my head. It doesn't seem real and I am trying so hard not to get my hopes up until after the ultrasound. Hoping so hard that it sticks. Just trying to keep busy until then.

@Crystal: I faintly remember you posting a thread about clomid and ovulating on your own--I was ovulating on my own and had success with Clomid. The only problem I could see was a very short luteal phase (my OB kind of seemed to blow it off every time I mentioned it and I was looking at going to someone else). She put me on Clomid to make everything "stronger". My LP was ranging 8-10ish days (21-23 day cycles). My first round of Clomid my LP was 12 days and a 25 day cycle. So it did help lengthen my cycle a bit. Wishing you lots of luck!

Just wanted to share and hope you all find some encouragement in my story. Like I said, think of you all so often. Praying for you all!

Hello All! I have been MIA for a while. We have been taking a break from TTC because I started a new job in January and I am on contract for the first four months. After AF shows this month we will start again!
