@pui: that's the thing that really makes me not want to read it. I mean, I even liked Twilight (the books) but there's no way I'm reading some middle-aged lady's fan fiction about bondage Bella. No thanks! Oh, that and also my MOTHER gave me her copy to read. Nope nope nope.

I haven't read them and don't plan to. I've heard too many creepy things about it to want to, at this point. All it took was a description of a scene involving a tampon for me to be all, "hell no!"

I think I made it a third or so into the first one before I tossed it aside. I couldn't get past when she'd do things like refer to her vag as "down there". And (at least what I read, maybe they get better?) it read like bad fanfiction (which, if I remember correctly, it was originally a Twilight fanfiction?)
Anyway, I can totally get into trashy novels (my favorite bathtub reads!) but I couldn't get into these at all.
