DD is 14 months old! She is getting over a bad cold/teething too but her sleep has gone down the tubes BIG TIME!
Naps on weekend are a mess, acts as if she isn't tired, bedtime has been easy but we have wake ups where she is screaming and I can't get her back down!
Now tonight she will not go to bed?! She never fights bedtime?!
It is as if she doesn't want us to leave or is terrified of crib?!
I can't CIO, just not in me, we havent really had to sleep train and she normally goes down drowsy yet awake?!
What gives kid?!

Separation anxiety? We had a bad bout of it aroun that time that really messed up sleep. I basically had to do the super nanny approach where I would sit in her room until she fel asleep, then moved closer and closer to the door every few days. It was brutal!

I'm guessing it's that she is sick. My kids always sleep so poorly while sick and then take a few extra days to adjust afterwards.

I agree with the sickness having an impact. Whenever my son has a cold, his sleep is impacted. I would give it a few days and see if it returns to normal.

Aww, so sad! I'd just stick it out too.. I know it's hard and everyone's tired... But I always think something has to be bothering her if sleep is crap. Hang in there!!

Hopefully it's just a quick phase that will pass, especially if she was sleeping fine previously!!
My LO had a bad week when he was about 14.5 months where he just SCREAMED anytime we put him in his crib for naps/bedtime. Luckily it only lasted about a week, and he was back to his easy bedtime routine, phew! (knock on wood)
