My poor daughter cannot figure out how to crawl! She has been up on all fours and rocking since before her 6 month appointment. Now, at 7.5 months she can drag her body forward with her arms locked straight (so not really an army crawl), and sort of launch herself forward. But it takes a lot of effort and isn't super fast.
She can get around, but she whines the whooooole time, I assume because she wants to go faster? This whining noise haunts me in my dreams.
Everyone that sees her do this very ungraceful move is like, "Any day now!"- they have all been saying this for at least 6 weeks.
Any day now? Please?
I feel your pain on the "noise." My 20-month-old makes a lot of whining noises throughout the day that I can still hear when I go to sleep. Instead of "counting sheep" I count the "whining noises jumping over the moon" or whatever.
