On a trip to Carter's to load up on summer T-shirts from the clearance section for Wagon Jr., I scoured through the racks and finally purchased my first baby girl item for Lil Miss Wagon!

I just love the soft pink and heather gray, and the little bow and button details. Also I love that the onesie is striped but the pocket is polka-dotted.

We have a ton of hand-me-downs for her, but not a ton of newborn stuff. We do also have a lot of gender-neutral stuff from Wagon Jr., but I wanted at least a few girly pieces to mix in. I was actually pretty surprised at myself as I was shopping-- I thought a lot of things were cute but I didn't like a whole ton of stuff. I didn't want anything hot pink, or lime green or yellow, since those colors don't always look good with dark Asian skin. I loved the soft pink and gray though!

Aaaaand let the floodgates open.... time to get a second job?
