My LO recently started sucking on her fingers when trying to go to sleep. She's nearly 23 months and has never been a thumb sucker. She had a pacifier but we took it away about 6 months.
My best guess is 2 year molars, but she won't let me get my fingers in there to see if she has teeth erupting.
Has anyone else gone through this with a nearly 2 year old?

hurmm.. sounds like it.
My DD sticks her fingers in her mouth sometimes, but usually it's when she's mimicking her baby brother. 
She did get her bottom molars sometime between 21-24 months (I forget exactly when). Her last 2 uppers just erupted at 26-27 months.
I noticed some congestion, more saliva and come to think of it, she did stick more toys in her mouth right before her teeth poked through.

My son is 27 months old and his hands are always in his mouth. He never had them in his mouth before he was 2.
