@travellingbee: I feel the same way! I didn't even really know about ovulation signs the first time around (which is kind of embarrassing!) but lucked out by getting pregnant my first cycle. I don't have weaning as an excuse but I do wonder if, being in my 30's, the few years of age could be an issue now.

@KelLeeLeee: you were right. I didn't test last night because I'm almost out of OPKs but this morning I got a smiley. Gonna be hard for FF to pinpoint the day though because I woke up sick with a fever so that's gonna affect my temps. Oh well, at least I know things are working.

@meredithNYC: I mean, everyone's different but I was 34 when I easily got preggo the 1st time and I'm 36 now, so being in your 30s certainly doesn't have to be a negative factor.

is this your first time using opks? Sorry if you said so already. You might O today, you sound a lot like me, I have a hso cervix the day before my positive opk (I only test in the am) and then O that same day. Get to BD'ing!!

CD11 and showing no signs of gearing up to O, I usually O ~CD14, hoping this isn't a long cycle!

@KelLeeLeee: No I used them one other month- the month I got pregnant with DS. We are waiting this month- just trying to figure out my cycle right now and will try next cycle- prob the end of July.

Hi ladies! A random thought just popped into my head and I was wondering if any of you have any information. My hubby takes Adderall to help manage his ADD. It never occurred to me that maybe it could have an effect on his sperm quality/quantity. I Googled, but there really wasn't a lot of conclusive info out there. Does anyone else's husband take this medication and/or know if it has any impact on male fertility?

@angelachase: I'm not really any help, but I think I have heard it could lower sperm count. Again, it's just something I 'heard' and probably doesn't mean anything. How long have you been trying?

@KelLeeLeee: 2 cycles, currently in the 2WW for cycle 3. Nothing we can do about it now but we'll definitely ask if this one is a BFN too. Google results said everything from "it will lower his sperm count" to "it won't affect him at all" to "it's never really been studied, no one knows."

@KelLeeLeee: Well, I am 15 dpo so I am not sure. FF seems to think I have a 15 long LP but I am not sure how accurate it is because it's only based on two cycles. One ended in CP and the other was anovulatory so I don't really know. FF thinks AF is due tomorrow.

@angelachase: that's an interesting question!? My husband does too. We have been TTC for 7 mos with an early mc @ wk 6 in May. Trying again this cycle & have an initial consult with a RE on Tue. If I learn anything related to Adderal I'll try & remember to share here.

So, I finally have a positive OPK. My fingers are crossed for a long surge because we haven't DTD since Monday, and DH I'd at work. Boo! But at least he'll be home earlier than usual tonight

What DPO is everyone? I'm at 4 DPO and soooooo antsy. No symptoms other than some light cramping, but I had on and off cramps throughout both 2WWs for the last 2 cycles.

I've had two days of sexy smiley faces, so I'm thinking maybe we'll have a better chance than I thought.
I upped my metformin dose last week after seeing the ob, we've hit yesterday and today (which I'm guessing are O-2 and -1), and we've used instead cups and I've been on mucinex.
I feel like there's not much we aren't trying at this point!

@MaryM: So I just had a revelation. I've been using softcups for years for AF. I couldn't figure out why people were referencing softcups and ttc. I just googled it. Holy crap! I'm so glad I have a ton of these on hand. I just added them last week to my subscribe and save plan on Amazon and am so glad I did.

When I pulled one out of my bedside table last night and unwrapped it to put it in, DH said "what are you doing??? Do you have candy?" Lol. Super sexy
But no less sexy than having to clean up before going to sleep I suppose.

Hi ladies! I'm the final straggler from the June board rolling over to the July board. Temp dropped below the coverline today and I'm feeling pretty crappy with AF symptoms so I'm sure it will be here today or tomorrow. Gonna hold off offically joining here until she gets here so I can guess my dates for the month.
I'm gonna go back and catch up on everyone's posts on this board in a bit!

Ugh, sitting here at CD 22 with no O yet.... Starting to get really annoyed as my cycle is now officially at least 2 days longer than last month, not to mention its messing up our BD cycle!!! By the time I O I feel like I won't want DH anywhere near me!!

Okay, Im a cheerleader gone POASer. I didn't ovulate this weekend while I was away so I guess we are trying this month after all. I'm on cd 20 now with no O in site. My body is still regulating after my mirena. I got a + opk on cd 22 last month but I had a fade in. I'm not sure if I'm even close!
I'm using cheapie opks 3 times a day right now because my surge was pretty short last month. Tentative POAS date is July 17.
