Can I just vent here a little bit too? Ugh, so this is the 3rd cycle in a row now that I've bled on CD13. Like exact same day and everything. I'm taking Provera on CD42 to induce my period because they don't come on their own ever.
Last cycle I went in to talk to the Dr. about my CD13 bleeding (which isn't just spotting, it's like full-on I need a tampon bleeding) He just brushed it off as break-through bleeding. Umm okay, but how are we supposed to BD when I'm bleeding 1/2 the frickin' time!? It's just annoying the crap out of me...
So who knows if I will even POAS later this month...I have a feeling I should probably just stay off these threads and not get my hopes up.
clementine / 957 posts
@Annette: I know how you feel! It totally sucks. Every cycle has gotten 4 days longer than the previous one for me. Its extremely frustrating with the BD because we start too early and just get too sick of each other by the time O does come around. This month I'm trying CBE advanced to see if it can help us from starting too soon!
Good luck to you! I hope O is right around the corner for you!

@MrsBrewer: can you talk to your doc again? Or get another opinion? That seems weird, is it the same time a O??
I think I O'd a little later than normal this month. We bd a little too early anyway, then work travel happened in the middle of our window. AF is due this week - having ZERO pregnancy-like symptoms. With my first pregnany my boobs were killing early... We will see - a couple more days.

@hellobeeboston: Yea, I will have to try and talk to him again. maybe he can try to adjust the dosage of progesterone that he's giving me or something? I have no idea. I don't know if I want to get a second opinion just yet though, I really love my doctor and I've been seeing him for 5+ years now. But if this keeps on going, then I would definitely be open to looking into someone else.
pomelo / 5129 posts
@MrsBrewer: Are there other doctors in your practice that maybe you can get a second opinion from?
The one I've been seeing since my MC is WAY more conservative and "let's wait and see" than the doctor I was seeing before our last BFP (but the one I've been seeing is more compassionate than the more progressive one...so it's not like I dislike either of them). If we don't get a BFP in the next couple months, I think I'll be going back to the original doctor. Even before we were "trying" to get pregnant, she told me at my last annual to come see her if we didn't get KU within 6 months.
coconut / 8854 posts
@hellobeeboston: Oh and about O date, I have no idea. I'm not using OPK's at all, and truthfully I haven't had any O symptoms yet. Although last cycle it definitely was right before O time I think I have twinges, and very EWCM just before bleeding. Who knows, maybe I missed my cues this month.
coconut / 8854 posts
@MaryM: My doctor that I'm seeing right now definitely sounds like your "progressive" one. He pretty much told me at my last appt that I will be pregnant within a year, and not to stress about it. But I totally am!! Yes though, there are other doctors in the practice that I could see for sure. I will definitely keep that open as an option.

@happybluebird its definitely harder to time when you have irregular cycles! Sorry to hear yours are lengthening as well. Hopefully July is a super long cycle for both of us (about 9 months or so!)
@mrsbrewer I have the same thing from CD 7-10! So frustrating! My naturopath said it could be a pause in my period where my estrogen is rising then dropping. I usually only have AF for one day on CD1 so it kinda makes sense that it would continue again on CD 7. Any chance this could be what's happening with you? PS... Don't give up on the boards - we are here for you whenever you need to vent
coconut / 8854 posts
@Annette: I have no idea if it's that or not! I normally have my normal period from CD 1-4. This is like actual heavy bleeding right now, including cramps and all, just like a normal period would be!
I won't give up on the boards, I'll just try not to be a Debbie Downer....I am going to make an apt with my doctor again within the next month or two....(I also just emailed him asking about my bleeding)

Well AF showed up today so I'm officially a roll over from June. It wasn't totally unexpected seeing as how we didn't have great BD timing last month (Only hit O-2, since we got a little sick of each other by then)
I don't think I will be officially joining this board because if I'm going off of my last cycles, I won't O until the 22nd of the month which would make my POAS date in August. I'll update when I know for sure when I O'd.
I am definitely gonna follow the board, keep up with all you wonderful ladies, and cheer you all on!
Good luck to everyone on the board, hoping we get lots of BFPs this month!

The TWW is such a mind game! I'm at 7 DPO today and feeling pessimistic because I feel absolutely nothing, symptoms-wise. A few random twinges & cramps, and was SUPER sleepy from 1-5 DPO, but I think that was just from the school year ending. But then again, last month I was convinced I was KU because I had such strong cramps 7-8 DPO and that ended in a BFN.
clementine / 957 posts
@angelachase: I agree about the TWW! It's so hard not to symptom spot! I tell myself I will not do it but I always do! Fx that those are symptoms!
pomelo / 5129 posts
@KelLeeLeee: I agree! I think you still had really good timing! Think of all the people who get KU without OPKs just by DTD EOD
I'm frustrated because I hate how long it takes to confirm O via temps! My last + was Sunday and my temp is still low. BOO!! Let's get this show on the road!
I'm really worried maybe all the meds I was on could lead to a month of not ovulating, but that's somewhat irrational because I have nothing to support that yet.
But just in case, I might have jumped DH last night. I think he thought I was insane. I'm not sure if we've EVER hit it three days in a row. lol
grape / 92 posts
I had major heartburn last night and BB's are really sore, strange symptoms for so early in my cycle. Trying not to get my hopes up but symptoms are popping up daily. Also experienced tiniest drop of blood on TP last week (cd14) which is also confusing me, never experienced that ever. Only on cd22 with allot of symptoms I don't usually get as my cycles are normally any where from 29 - 39 days long.
apricot / 278 posts
Not having good vibes for this cycle… AF is due today. I did test yesterday and bfN, may have been too early. My temps are slowing dropping and it's making me depressed! I know "it's not over until AF is here" but my temps aren't very promising. My official POAS date is 7/3…I guess we shall see!
pear / 1955 posts
@HappyBluebird: I'm in the same boat as you, except AF hasn't shown up yet - I tested yesterday and got a BFN (at 10DPO, so I guess there's still a chance.) But otherwise, I have such long cycles that I won't be testing until mid-August. Booo.

Your game plan this month: This is our last month "winging it." We have worked on BD timing but that is about it. If we do not have success this month I will begin charting next month.
clementine / 957 posts
@raspberries: 10DPO is still early so there's still hope!! FX for you! I hope you get a BFP but if not at least we have someone else to wait it out with!
How long are your cycles usually? My last one was 37 days. Each one gets longer by 2-4 days. It's extremely annoying.
Kinda bummed I won't get to POAS in July but everyone else's BFPs will keep me positive!

@nicolechris11212: Good luck to you! It's not over till' it's over!

@HappyBluebird: Ugh, that sounds totally annoying! Over the last four months, my cycles have been 35 days, 45, 38, and 41 - so I think they're evening out to right around 40 days? I'm on CD39 now, so who the heck knows? This is only my second cycle TTC so I can't really complain, haha. It sucks to have longer cycles, but at least we're in this together!
nectarine / 2465 posts
@Tam: Did you O already? Those signs sound promising if you are in the TWW
@raspberries: 10 dpo is so early, you have plenty of time!
@HappyBluebird: Hoping you O early and can join us at the end of the month!
@littledove: Good luck!
