DD is sound asleep!
Fireworks are already CRAZY!
I have our little dog on our bed so I can shush him quick as he wants to bark at every one

I honestly think he was worse because of DD he is protective, well at least tries to be! -
Our pup didn't seem to hear them last night. I think it helped that they started after we were already in bed.

Ours isn't extremely anxious when it comes to fireworks, but I put a drop of lavender essential oil on her spine and I think it helped! She kept sniffing the air like, "where is that smell coming from?" Lol. I'm going to try it next time we have a thunder storm.

I learned a trick from a trainer to play tennis ball with her when she's scared--their brains can't really do two things at once was the explanation? This probably won't work for everyone, but ours is a Lab and cannot resist the ball no matter how freaked she is.
