DH and I are headed for a weekend away from our little lady for the first time tomorrow!! She is 14 months and doesn't really nurse much anymore, so I can't tell you how excited I am to get away.
When did you spend your first night away from your LO(s)?

Yay! Have fun! Lo is 7.5 months so haven't been away from her yet, I don't see it happening til after she turns 1 at least.

Yay!!! We had a couple nights away from her when she was almost 3 months old...we boozed it up at a destination wedding while my parents watched her.

When DS was 18 months we took a weekend trip away. I don't think I can leave DD for a long time (she's 11 months). She cries if I leave the room!

They were both really young. G was a week old & P was 5 weeks the first time they stayed at grandmas. I don't remember when I had my first "real" time away from G (probably not until his dad & I split), but we took a weekend away for our anniversary last month so that would be the first for P!

Lo was 17 months when I first left. It was one night, dh and I gave each other a night away as our chanukah gifts. It was fun.... but I really missed lo.

It was an accident, around 10 months... and it was "overnight" but about 8 hours.

LO was almost 2 when we first left him overnight, and I missed him so much. We will be leaving him for a whole week next month. I have no idea how he will handle it. I know I will be a crying mess.
