@Marfi: Welcome! You will find all kinds of info & support here! My advice is to introduce yourself on the POAS boards. The October board will probably start up soon. Lots of those ladies are charting & can offer great advice. Good luck to you!!!

Also, a great resource for charting is Taking Charge of Your Fertility book and fertilityfriend.com

@Marfi: welcome and good. Luck!
I wasn't a good charter because I could temp at the same time consistently. I ended up tracking with CM and OPKs and it worked.

Welcome! I second TCOYF and FF. it can all be a bit overwhelming but this is a positive supportive community! Oh and please join the October POAS board once it gets going. In the mean time, come join us on the September board!

Honestly, my only tip is to not chart and just use OPKs But some people love seeing the temp shifts.

Read, post lots of questions here....people love to help. Know that it seems overwhelming at first, but you'll quickly get the hang of it. I'm glad I charted in the beginning because it helped me learn a lot about my body, but it was a relief to stop once I was pretty sure I was ovulating. It can get stressful watching all the dips and rises, so try to remember that you're learning your body's patterns and don't read too much into it.
From HB, I've learned that many people have doctors who don't read too much into the charts. That isn't to discourage you from charting, but just to prepare you for your doctor's possible ambivalence towards charting.

Fertility Friend!! I just kept my basal thermometer next to the bed & took my temp each morning ... I recorded it on my app. Easy peasy!
