First off, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I hope everyone's having a fab weekend and especially enjoying Sunday!
I'm curious what everyone's doing/did for their first Mother's Day. Stay home? Go out? For those of you that normally celebrate at your own Mom's or MIL's house, did you stick to tradition or started you own?

This is not the ideal first mother's day for me because DH is in the hospital recovering from a surgery. He is an awesome husband though and we celebrated by going to dinner and a walk on the beach last weekend, and he gave me a great, very thoughtful gift.
Today was spent visiting DH in the hospital, and tonight my mom is having a BBQ so LO and I will go there, hang out, eat, and swim. We don't love going out on mothers day because it's always so crowded at restaurants.

Happy Mother's Day to all, it is really cool to be in the club this year. We got our BFP a year ago the Tuesday after Mother's Day- I was too scared to test on Mother's Day last year.
We are staying at home, but will Skype with the grandma's later today. We did risk it and went to breakfast on the craziest breakfast Sunday of the year- thank goodness the baby gets us up early these days!
We are going to walk around a nice shopping area later today, I need a cookie cutter, so it is a great excuse to go.

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mamas and mamas-to-be!
DH is away for work and we don't live close to any family. DS and I are spending Mother's Day together at home. We might venture out to the grocery store later but I don't know. I entertained going to breakfast this morning...for about half a second! haha! 
Anyway, I'm hoping the hive isn't too slow today! I need some kind of adult interaction

It is exciting to be celebrating my first mothers day. We went to church and had my son dedicated.
Now we're at my parents and my brothers and I are making my mom an elaborate dinner. Turkey wild rice burger's with sauteed mushrooms, Israeli salad and a homemade cheesecakes with blueberry topping- nummmy! It's a gorgeous day outside too so I plan on soaking up some rays!
