I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I still don't think it has sunk in yet (for either of us, actually!). He was on board with TTC but in a chill kind of way, like what will be will be. He has certainly never said those words to me - but I know he wants to be a dad from his actions, I guess.

It's so sweet that your hubby is excited about being a dad. I really hope it happens for you very soon.

Yeah, DH has said it to me. When I found out last year that I was pregnant (it hadn't been discussed, since we were only married 9 months at the time!) I was really nervous to tell him. So, when I thought I *might* be, I felt him out about it, and he said it's definitely something he wanted.

It means so much to me to hear him say he wants to be a dad!

He was the one that wanted to push up our time line to start trying. I thought we would start trying next summer but he wanted to start this summer. I have baby fever and was happy to oblige

He has before... DH has wanted to be a daddy for some time now. He's really controlled with his head and heart though - he won't let his heart take control if his head says otherwise (if that makes sense). I knew he wanted to be a dad and was waiting for the "right time" but it took him actually saying it out loud to get to me. He *loves* kids so that makes me excited too!

I remember the moment he said he was ready to be a dad like it was yesterday! We both knew we wanted to be parents someday but I thought the "right" time was still 6 months to a year off...then he said it and I immediately teared up and thought "absolutely!"
We got pregnant quicker than we expected and were both kind of taken aback, but he was always excited. Once we found out we're having a boy and chose a name, I think he was really able to envision having an actual LO running around and tells me all the time how he can't wait to meet him and be a daddy Melts my heart!
