There are so many things I can not wait to do in San Diego with my LO..
World Famous San Diego Zoo
San Diego Wild Animal Park
Sea World
Aquarium
Museums
of course she is only just about 5 MONTHS!
I know she probably wont really be able to enjoy these things until after 12 months.
...... but the San Diego Zoo and Sea World both offer YEAR passes for 99.00 (adults)
would you wait? when did you first take your LO on a big adventure?

I took LO to the SD Zoo the week before she turned 6 months old! We had a blast and it was good exercise!

We were in DC for something and took DD to the National Zoo when she was just under 5m.

We waited to do that kind of thing. I think it would be fun to go when your lo is little, its nice to get out and walk around if the weather is nice. Its just so hot here and my lo is too noisy for museums.

We took LO to the aquarium when she was 8 months old. She looked at the sea creatures, but she wasn't very interested in what she was seeing.
When we took her to the zoo at 14-15 months she LOVED it so much!

We took LO to the Central Park Zoo and Museum of Natural History at about 4 months when we had our staycation in the city. She was more interested in the little kids than the animals at the zoo 
But we still had fun!

I take my son to the zoo once a week here in Phoenix since he was about 6 weeks old, animal related zoos and parks are my favorite thing! (Pics of us with Cam's baboon bff from here in AZ)
We just did some of those with our 7 month old very recently-
San Diego Zoo was a blast!! So much walking, but it was really fun! Really crowded, but I still had a great time.
Sea World on the other hand totally SUCKED!! It is very stroller unfriendly and super crowded. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a theme park. We finally gave up and left after the lunch lines were an hour long. I was also very disappointed to see that they got rid of the Clydesdales and beer samples.
We were too tired at that point to even think about Wild Animal Park (which I have never been and have wanted to go to for years). We went to the beach and relaxed instead.
If I were planning a trip in the future, I would definitely wait until it was less summer touristy. I've only been in January in the past, I will never go over summer break again!

We took DD to the zoo for the first time at 4 months; she liked the reptile house because all the animals are close to the glass. We also took her to the train museum at 4 months, 10 months, and 16 months and the aquarium at 9 months. Plus a handful of museums (children's museums and academy of science in SF) between 9 months and now, 26 months. DD might not have gotten a lot out of it at very young ages but it was fun for us! And we have to go out of town for all these things so it's a big trip each time we go.
