Just got a text notice that our flight is delayed.

We were going to get the babies up soon to feed before we head to the airport. But now it's delayed by almost 3 hours.

I've had flights delayed by like 30 min but nothing like a 3 hour delay.

I tried calling Delta and there's a 2 hr wait time to talk to someone.

Is there a pretty good chance that it will and definitely be a 3 hour delay? I guess the few flights I've been on have been delayed (short delay mostly less than an hour) but they've always been changed so the delay was less time than expected. Like instead of a 30 min delay, it was a 15 min delay.

Do I push my whole schedule back and have the taxi come later?

Yeah, this sucks. Being holiday peak travel, I doubt we can change our flight to an earlier flight.

I guess I have been lucky that in all the times we've flown that I have never been this delayed.

Oh, when we call Delta they said it was a weather related delay. So I'm assuming it is most likely definitely delayed. Unless they are able to find another plane and the flight leaves on-time.

Ugh, what to do... Leave on-time and probably be miserable walking around the airport if it is delayed or just push back the time we leave for the airport.
