DS is 18 months and will be getting his flu shot tomorrow. DD is 3 months and can't get one, so we want to be as protected for her.

yup. My husband works in the hospital, and we wanted to be sure that we were all protected, in addition to limiting the risk of him bringing something into the patients he works with!
My daughter is 6.5 months. Got the first one last week, next one is in a couple weeks. I'm hoping to get mine this week!

Yep. My boys are 10 months old and they just got their second flu booster yesterday. (The first time they get a flu shot, they actually have to get two)
DH and I still need to get ours though!

@sunshineandsushi: my LO is also 10 months...did they have any reactions/side effects to the flu shot? My LO didn't have any side effects to the last round of vaccinations but i'm not sure how this one will play out...

Yes. He is 13 months and just got the second dose on Friday. No reaction.

yes. she got her first dose at her 12m appointment at the beginning of October, and we go this morning for her second dose!
eta - no reaction here. I think she may have had a mild fever from the other shots, but she usually does with her vaccines. my flu shot killed for a couple days but she was running around totally fine that same day, never complained! even when DH accidentally held her right where she got the shot.

Yep he will be 18 mos when he gets it. He got it last year at 7 months as well. Last year he was in daycare - this year he goes to preschool 1-2 days a week and we go to music class a d other stuff and I just feel like its not fair to him to expose him to the flu without protecting him with a shot. Also my husband works in a hospital. We all will always get flu shots.

We are going today for the flu shot. DD is 3.5 years old and DS is 21 months. They have gotten one every year they have been alive (and even when I was pregnant with them!)

Yes, we got one last year at 10 months and this year at 22 months, as soon as the ped's office had them in stock. Everyone in our family gets a yearly flu shot.

Yes; she got one last year and again this year - she is almost 17 months. She had no reaction either time, although she usually has reactions to other shots (just a fever, general crabbiness)

Xander got the flu shot at his 6 month well-visit (and 4 weeks later since at that age, they get them in two doses)!

We just went and got his yesterday. 7.5 months, so he goes back in 4 weeks for the booster.
No reactions to it. Although coincidence, he wouldn't nap yesterday.

She got one at her 9-month wellness check. Going in for her second dose tomorrow.

My LO just got his with his 6 month shots. He did react and had a pretty good fever all night and most of the next day.
he was also just super sleepy and needy.
Our doctor is not having us return for a second shot though, is that weird? We don't go back until February!

She had one when she was 6 months old last year and she just got hers for this year at her 15 month appointment. She hasn't had a reaction either time.

Yes, 21 months, zero reaction (usually he's a little cranky after any shot, but nothing this time!)

Yes, he will get it next month when he turns 6 months old. I don't want to expose him to anything when I get home from work at the hospital!

E got it at 14 months this year. Last year he did not get it because he wasn't old enough to get it until right as the season was winding down and he's not in daycare. He didn't have a reaction to it all.

D is 9 months. He got the first part 2 weeks ago, and will get the 2nd in 2 more weeks. I work in a hospital, so I definitely want him to have it.
