I'm thinking about flying home for a quick weekend trip with M.

Just wanted some input from other parents that have flown with similar aged babies.

Ideally I will fly home after work on Friday evening then fly back Sunday evening. But M's bedtime is typically around 6:30/7:00pm. She's not terrible if she misses bedtime if she had good naps during the day. But she hardly naps at daycare and with being home things will be too exciting I doubt she'll nap much there.

SO if you've flown with a 10 month old was it terrible flying at bedtime or should I try to take a half day Friday and plan to get to my brother's before bedtime. And perhaps take Monday off and fly back Monday afternoon. I'd rather not do the latter bc I'm at a temp to perm job and already took a sick day bc of M and took a day off planning to go home but got cancelled bc of Nemo.

Also would you reco getting a aisle seat or window seat? It's only an hour flight. And it'll just be baby & I.

I plan to carry her in a carrier and bring just 1 "small" carry on.

Any other tips? Thanks!
