My family lives an hour plane ride away so flying obviously is much faster than driving for us. Unfortunately they can't come visit us very often, so I'd like to visit them so they can see a lot more of LO. Right now LO is 2 months old, so I'm looking for some travel tips. I'm going to get a pack n play to keep there and can borrow a car seat.

So how does taking a baby through an airport work? My stroller is fairly large and I don't think it would fit through the x ray. Would they just check it by hand or should I get a cheap smaller stroller, or just put LO in a carrier? I plan for LO to be a lap baby and DH would probably be coming with me on most of the trips.

Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!
