I just saw it this weekend. They had a guy operating it and giving out samples so you can go have a taste!

@lawbee11: if you're used to lattes, not sure you're gonna like the pods.. They're too watery and not strong enough for me.
I used to make my espresso at night on days I knew I wouldn't have much time in the am!
My machine was super easy to use and cost like 60 bucks at Macy's. coffee is about 12 (I had them grind it super fine--told them to grind for a Turkish press) and the syrup was like 8 for a bottle. Prices might have gone up since I was in school 3 years ago.

I'd go out and try the Starbucks machine.. I had a keurig and didn't like it. Luckily we got it at Costco and they took it back (after a year) and gave us a full refund. Haha!

I love Starbucks latte's but the Verissimo was a huge disappointment. The latte was really watery and kind of gross actually. I was so excited when I saw it in the store, so my taste test was a huge let-down.

I ended up putting a Tassimo on my Christmas list, because after tasting all of the single cup brewers, the tassimo coffee was the best tasting to me.

@MsMini: I prefer tassimo to all the other single cup brewers too--- it doesn't just send the same hot water through every pod, it steams milk for a latte differently than it makes foam for a cappucino etc.
