Since, it's brunch maybe you could incorporate mini milk bottles for the kids. I think those are really cute. You can also bake sugar cookies shaped as the number one. I did that for my nephew's first bday. I like looking at the hostess With the mostess blog. They have done brunch theme parties, you can get some really neat ideas there. Have fun.

I learned the hard way at a brunch shower I hosted- coffee and bloody Marys go over VERY well. I mimosas over everything so had very little of other beverages. We come from a big social drinking family though.
Maybe cute to netflix or stream Saturday morning cartoons from when we were young? Tom&jerry, looney tunes, whatever is available.
Would be something to talk about and reminisce and keep any children occupied.

What about creating a crossword puzzle about the birthdaygirl to entertain the adults?

Coloring sheets & crayons or some type of less mess arts & craft project may be fun for older kids. That stuff could tie into the cartoons.
