I don't know if you saw the article the other day that said older dads were more likely to have children with autism spectrum disorder but I heard about it and tried to ignore it. Then, I saw this opinion piece today and loved it.

We talked about that study last night. They're forever trying to link this or that to increased odds of ASD. While DH is nowhere near 45 (he's 35), we discussed whether it was worth it to wait the 10 years we've been together and decided that he's in a much better place to handle parenthood now compared to 10 years ago.

Aw that's a nice article! DH is going to be 37 and we're TTC and he def considers himself an old dad. He actually laments about it quite frequently 
I will have to send this to him!

Oh that is nice! My coworker was kinda worried about the other articles...he is 43 (or 44) and they will TTC soon.
