I saw that water bottles was a popular "unexpected toy" so I thought I'd share what we've started to do with our water bottles, because P likes playing with them here too!

I found some fun "sensory bottles" on Pinterest so I decided to make our own (G helped) & P has LOVED them!

I chose the ones filled with:
1. Pieces of tin foil for slow movement, reflection, & P uses it like a rattle/shaker (poor bottle is already all beat up).
2. Buttons with water for fun colors & movement (pretty fast movement)
3. Variety color/size pom poms for visual stimulation & early math concepts
4. Different colored beads in water for movement & sound (this one is DH's favorite)

Super easy & everything I had on hand so in essence they cost me NOTHING! Woot woot! Since P has loved them so much I thought I'd share with you ladies.... if they're gonna play with water bottles, might as well help stimulate their little brains, right?!
