We are going to use condoms until I'm done breastfeeding. Then I'll go back on the patch. I don't like things being inserted into me and honestly our insurance sucks so bad, we would probably have to pay for an entire snip surgery ourselves. Not worth it. I'm ok on the patch. It worked for 10 years!

My friends who are done having kids all has the guy snipped - I was pretty surprised finding this out. I'm not sure what we will do...maybe an IUD for several years to make sure we are definitely done having kids and then I'd be open to something permanent

I was going to go back on the Mirena IUD but we've decided were one and done so my husband is getting snipped.

If/when we close our baby factory, DH will be snipped.

My husband will get a vasectomy in the near future... but for now, I'll get a Mirena inserted. (I didn't want to take the pill)

After our next one, I'll go back on the Mirena. DH refuses to get snipped. I might do something like the Essure procedure in the future, but I'd want to be 100% certain before doing that, so I'll do an IUD until we absolutely know we're done.

I don't know what we;'ll do or if the factory is closed or resting... but I know my grandparents used NFP and only had one accident (child 2 of 5) and no accident children, just one accidentally earlier than planned. And my parents used condoms with no accidents.
I am thinking a combo of both, but for now just breastfeeding and condoms (can't do NFP so early after birth) -
I don't know if I'll ever say factory closed...we will do nfp and pull out. I actually never plan on going back on bc and dh won't snip...we wouldn't mind having an unplanned child sometime in our lives. It wasn't exactly easy getting pregnant the first time anyway
