How and can you limit your friends and family from posting pics of your LO?

I don't know, but after glancing at HB last night, DH announced that when we have a LO I am never ever allowed to post a photo of him or her online, ever. I can't argue with him there.

Our family has been pretty respectful. My mom will often ask about posting something and its not often that she does.
I post a few here and there and on my blog.

I don't know how you really prevent it, but my plan with friends and family is that if they post pictures on Facebook (which is probably where they will be posting), I'll request that they make the album (or the photo) private so only family can see it or to take it down.
I know I've posted pictures of other people's kids in the past, but I just open the album up to them and their family, and if anyone ever asked me to take a picture down, I would be happy to do it.

The one thing that shocked me is Instagram, I didn't realise anything you post on Insta is likely to show up on FB despite setting your sharing privileges not to include any social networking sites. I found out when a photo of my LO appeared on FB despite me not even having an account, it was through a friend hitting 'like' on Instagram

I rarely ever post photos on Facebook and I have stopped doing it here. I have private albums on Google+ and I only send them to my immediate family. I'm on Instagram but haven't befriended too many people there.

I think about this A LOT. I love baby pictures on Facebook and think it will be really tempting to share, but I also worry about privacy. I think we'll probably set up a blog with a private password for family and friends to see a slew of pictures, and share judiciously on social networks, to a limited group of friends. I'm not sure how we'll handle friends and family though... probably on a case by case basis.

I post photos of my LO on just my FB. I don't have a ton of people that post photos of him thankfully.
