We started to sleep train LO (he's 4 mos old) on Sunday night.

The first night, he cried about 33 min before finally asleep and did not wake up until I actually woke him around 4:30 AM to feed & change him, then he went back to sleep in his crib without crying or fighting. He slept from 8:30 PM until 4:30 AM, woke up for 10 min and then sleep again until 7:30 AM. Total sleep 10 hours and total crying 33 min. We really thought "Oh this is easy peasy, he's good!" Yeah right!

Last night (night #2), he cried only 9 min before he fell asleep on his own, slept for 3.5 hours before waking up at 11:30 PM and cried for 1 hour non-stop. The BIGGEST MISTAKE I did was I touched (helped) him a few times because he rolled his body & he had a hard time rolling himself back and he bang his head and his legs couple times...I was crying like nuts. I couldn't help it at that moment. I was sooo scared that he would plant his face on the mattress and couldn't breathe. I finally picked him up and gave him a bottle and put him to sleep right next to us. I feel like a BIG FAILURE. I failed him! I am sorta lost now, I knew I made the situation even worse and not sure what to do next...

Anyone has similar situation? Can I still fix it?
