Our neighbor brought over a cat she thought was ours; it's not - but it's clearly an indoor cat. My husband put a box/blanket in the garage for it, but it didn't stay put and now it's just been standing outside our back door meowing loudly for an hour plus.

I've posted notices online and in the morning if its still around we'll take it to the vet to be scanned for a microchip. The SPCA won't pick up stray cats any thoughts on other places I might look for missing cat listings? (Already looked on craigslist).

IT'S SO LOUD IM LOSING MY MIND (oddly, our cat isn't bothered by it at all). And of course I also feel badly for it, but there is no way I am letting it inside.
