Did anyone that registered at Buy Buy Baby get the "free" offers from Udder Covers, Seven Slings and CarSeat Canopy? I say "free" because you actually have to pay shipping of $12/item...was it worth it? Do you get a lot of use out of them?

I LOVE my udder cover, but the sling I never used because it's small and awkward. Much better to get a quality RS or SCC.

I love the sling. My LO was too big for the holds for newborns after about 2 weeks old... but now that he is stronger, I LOVE it for the hip sitting position. It is good for limited use though, not all day baby wearing. I wear it to shop. Only.
Do order a size up--your boobs will grow!
The cover is great but I recommend a light color. I got a black one and it gets too hot under there. Still it is easier than a blanket, smaller in your diaper bag than a blanket, too, and the $12 is less than buying a baby au lait or hooter hider.
Never tried the car seat thingy. -
my lo is still cooking, but i ordered the udder cover (i was planning on using a blanket, but i figured this would be more convenient and it was cheap!) and the carseat canopy. i had lofty goals of sewing my own carseat cover a la pinterest, but when i saw it was only going to be $12 i decided to just go for it. it's SUPER nice quality and fits the car seat great.

I get a lot of use out of my udder cover and car seat cover, the sling is a POS

I got the udder cover and love it. Skipped the sling, but I have a friend who got it and she likes it but has to wear it the wrong way to make it work for her...

I got the cover and the sling. Have yet to use either, but the fabric for the sling seems really cheap...

@MsMini: @mrsjyw: Yeah. the sling is really only worth the $12... but it does a good $12 job, in my opinion.
Look up pouch slings and see if it is a way you want to carry your baby or not. -
I have the carseat cover. LO isn't here yet but I love it! I can't wait to use it this winter. It hangs from the handle, which is great because I can flip it up and over if I need to and also not worry about it sliding or falling off during transit to and from the car

bumping this, just got an offer for free udder cover and udder cover breast pads (have to pay the shipping). Anyone have any additional input on these?

Hmmm no didn't get the cover-- my friend made me one. I got the sling and it didn't work for us.

use the udder cover, but not the sling - it's like a cheap pillow case with the ends cut off. never got the canopy cover, but i hear it's wroth it

I got the free nursing pillow and the nursing cover. I haven't gotten the cover yet, my mom is keeping it at her house until after my shower but the pillow is very cheap. It's not a lot of stuffing and the fabric isn't too soft, it came with the offers for the sling and cover.
