During my maternity leave, DH and I religiously recorded every little thing A did. Diapers, feeds, sleeping, baths, spit up -- anything. If A looked sleepy, we checked the phone to see if it was time. If she looked hungry, we checked the phone just to see how long it had been (she was always fed when hungry, regardless of what the phone said). A is now three months old and just started day care last week. While day care gives me a sheet everyday that tells me about her naps, diapers and feeds, I don't have the patience or time to enter all that into the app. So, other than curiosity about her overnight sleep (she STTN!), we have abandoned the app. And I feel free!

Baby looks/acts tired? Naptime! Baby is hungry--feed her and don't bother timing each side. She'll be fine. I feel so free. The app was great for newborn Baby A and I'm so happy we used it when we had no clue what we were doing, but it feels great to not look for my phone before I do anything with baby.

Anyone else abandon strict recordkeeping?
