I am in the same boat as you so I haven't tried a ton yet - but I have frozen Pioneer Woman's comfort meatballs (without the sauce) -AND froze her mashed potatoes - they were great. http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2009/03/bbq-meatballs-comfort-food-to-the-max/
And I just made a double batch of Ellie Krieger's turkey meatballs http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/ellie-krieger/turkey-meatballs-with-quick-and-spicy-tomato-sauce-and-whole-wheat-spaghetti-recipe/index.html
I have a few quiches in the freezer too.
Today i'm making green chile chicken enchiladas (link has freezer meal ideas!) http://www.jasonandshawnda.com/foodiebride/archives/1239/ and shrimp scampi.
I am trying to focus mainly on protein-heavy meals, and keeping the list of freezer meals in the "notes" app of our ipad - so I can tell DH to look there if i'm exhausted/sleeping/indisposed for ideas.

We made some english muffin breakfast sandwiches. Those were perfect for breakfasts. Unfortunately for us, we ended up tossing alot of the food because we couldn't have milk and most was made with milk.

We make up batches of chilli con carne, veggie chilli and chicken curry - anything in a sauce - and have them with packets of microwavable rice when we're pressed for time. We also make up big pots of soup and freeze individual portions in tupperware. We had success with freezing baked potatoes, too - perfect for a quick lunch or snack.

And on my list for the remainder of the pregnancy (my goal is to make two meals a week to freeze - I'm sort of worried we won't have enough, but I don't have the energy every week to do much more than 2 meals and couldn't really start more than a couple of months ahead of time)

Things like soups and chili's, casseroles, lasagnas, and stir fry's are all good options. I learned from my mom, you can freeze just about anything!

I froze trays of cabbage rolls and a few 2 to 3 serving size meat pies and they were wonderful for the postpartum time.I found in really handy to have large trays of cabbage rolls that way if anyone came over or was staying for a longer visit I could just throw those in the oven and dinner was ready for everyone.

Pasta sauce is easy, and lasagna and enchiladas. Black bean burritos for sure.
