Love both but would probably go for the tots since I don't get a chance to eat them that often. I love them extra crispy. Yum!

It depends on from where, but normally french fries. For instance, I think Sonic's fries are gross, and will always request for tator tots. At Burger King, I always get their onion rings, etc.
