Tomorrow is Friday the 13th. What are everyone's thoughts? Does Friday the 13th freak you out? I'm normally not the interested in it, although I will try to avoid flying on Friday the 13th. But this month I'm super aware of it because I was planning to take an HPT tomorrow morning for the first time this cycle. It's probably still a little early (about 9 dpo) but we are going to a big party for friends tomorrow night and I"ll probably have a glass of wine or two but I'd like the check first. I'm really really hoping to be PG and I feel like I'm cursing myself by testing on Friday the 13th!!

Friday the 13th was my due date, so I have been more than happy to see its arrival. Its also my mom and several other people's birthdays, so I was fine with it as a birthday option too. Our little man decided to be born on the 7th, so no new celebrations to add to that day anymore.

One of my friends was born on a Friday the 13th in October (she LOVES Halloween.) She thinks #13 is lucky.

I also know someone who was born on Friday the 13th in October. I'm not superstitious of Friday the 13th and have never had a bad experience on that day.

I don't really notice it. But I do pay attention to full moons.

Yesterday I was at the hospital having my glucose test. During the 2 hour wait I got talking to a woman who said she was due on Friday the 13th and that she was going to "cross her legs to keep him in because she didn't want a devil baby". My husband and I thought it was hilarious and are still laughing about it.
I don't really give it any extra notice. -

We have a pool going at work to see when I'll deliver (my due date is the 17th), and it seems that tomorrow is the date that most people think I'll go into labor. So I wouldn't mind having a Friday the 13th baby

My SIL is due today, and her BP has been a bit high, so they wanted to induce her tonight. She begged her doctor to wait until Saturday to avoid a Friday the 13th baby... the compromise is later on tomorrow. It's her first, so hopefully she'll hold on until the 14th! haha

Funny, you mention this. I just noticed that my hospital doesn't have a 13th floor. I guess, you don't want to put the maternity ward on the 13th fl, so they skipped 13 and made it 14.

@Clementine: Most buildings don't have 13th floors : ) Which I think is just silly... if you're on the 14th floor you're actually just on the 13th floor with a different name!
Test was negative but still holding out hope because it really was quite early to be testing. I think I'll allow myself a glass of wine tonight. Hopefully I'll have better luck next week when I'm a little farther out from O date.
