So my best friend from high school is turning 30 and her husband is throwing her a small birthday party. We're not nearly as close as we used to be, but we both recently had babies, so we've gotten together a couple times for play-dates, which I think is why I was invited to her birthday party. We haven't exchanged birthday presents in YEARS... should I get her something??? And if so, what???? I also don't know if other people are bringing gifts and I don't want to be the only jerk that does bring one (or the only jerk that doesn't)! Help!

Personally, I think it's weird to give gifts to adult and think Iif you sjowes up with a card only you would be a-ok. But, specialty food is always a good gift.

I would bring flowers. I hate getting and giving a single bottle of wine because it's too much for the 2 of us and not enough for a party of 4. If you're leaning towards alcohol, how about a bottle of something a little more special, like Lillet?

Booze is always my go too...or a mani/pedi gift card if you are feeling nice

My go to is a bottle of champagne and two champagne glasses! Something funky and not too pricey.
