What did you do for your LO's first birthday thank you cards? I really want to get something with a picture of LO on it- but an having a hard time justifying spending $60.00 on Thank you cards....before I have even mailed them!

I got a bunch of party printables for Xander's birthday off Etsy and they came with thank you cards. So no picture of Xander included. I just had to print the cards and buy envelopes.

Just used cards from Target!

I ordered 4x6" prints that said "Thank you" on top and had a photo of E digging into her cake. They were 24 cents because I ordered "photos" instead of cards. I had archival ink pens that i used to write on the back.

I think it's a cute idea but it's something we can't afford. Just using up thank you cards I already have. MUST finish these today!!!

@autumnlove: Same! I'm big on handwritten thank you cards, so just got a bunch of cute ones from Target and went to town.

Target! I figure since DD's first birthday invitation had her picture on it I didn't think it was necessary to have her picture again on the Thank You cards.

Honestly, most people are just going to throw them away so I don't see the point in spending a bunch of extra money for photo cards.

@cheert16: Have you heard of an app called Ink? I read about it on here and downloaded it. You can take a pic on your phone and put it on a postcard then write a little message and the app prints and mails it for you! I don't think the postcards are very expensive. I'm planning to make each one different and have a pic of LO playing with the gift as the picture.

We just bought generic cards from a store.

I have gone to like 4 sites and priced them out- I think I am going to go to Target and get some! That way I can get them out this weekend!!
