...is happening. Guess they couldn't let it go
Will your LO(s) be excited? M still isn't really into tv/movies, but maybe she will be by the time Frozen 2 comes out!

Aren’t they doing a shorter Frozen 2 that’s showing before the new Cinderella movie? (That’s what my husband told me anyway???)

I'm kind of excited for this. Frozen's grown on me. Watching it with LO was fun especially laughing at Olaf.

@yoursilverlining: yep - Its Anna's birthday celebration - The "Tangled" short was around 7 minutes so I imagine this will follow suite

Oh gosh E will be over the moon, we still watch this movie every time she's given the choice for movie night!

@yoursilverlining: I heard this too, we are going next week! The only thing that worries me is that LO will be mad when it's over and then be upset for Cinderella!

@LuLu Mom: How old is your LO? I was thinking of taking my 4 yr old but wasn't sure if it would keep her interested since its not cartoon based

@Mamaof2: she's 2 1/2, I'm worried too, but every time the commercials come on she's stops and gets so excited saying "mommy it's a princess, she's beautiful" so I hope that's enough to keep her entertained. It's her first time going to a movie, I just hope it doesn't scare her with the evil mom/ect.
Edit: We are going next Thursday and I give birth on Friday, so we are doing "big sister" special stuff as her last day as an only child.

I'll take the kids to watch, but they've been over Frozen/Elsa/Anna for a while now!

@LuLu Mom: Do you mind giving an update on Cinderella after you see it? Like @Mamaof2, we were thinking of taking LO to see it and I think she'll be ok with a non-cartoon, but I am worried that the "evil stepmother" will be too scary/upsetting!

@yoursilverlining: I will try to remember (total prego brain!) If you remember give me a shout out next week after Thursday and I will give an update!

Yessss - forget L, I'M excited! But yes, she will go crazy for Frozen 2
@yoursilverlining: @LuLu Mom: It's Frozen Fever! I took L to the Cinderella screening, and we were VERY surprised by the mini-Frozen movie. So so so cute.
The Cinderella movie was really good. I loved it, but L (2 years + 2 months) was underwhelmed. She was definitely too young, but was able to sit quietly with snacks, her blanket and her baby doll. Because it's not animated it didn't keep her attention very well. They still have the mice and birds so that picked her back up every once in a while. I had to narrate to her a lot (look at that pretty dress! What a silly mouse. That mouse is eating cheese - so silly! Wow look at those crazy shoes. etc...). Nothing is scary, except if they understand death it might be a little sad (have to sit through THREE parents dying!), but L just thought everyone was going 'night-night'. The movie sticks super close to the animated Cinderella, very little deviance.

@swurlygurl: AHHH good to hear! I hope DD likes it and i'm happy there isn't any scary. DD doesn't really get death so i think she will think "sleeping" too.
