So excited for the return of Game of Thrones!! I've been reading all the gossip about it lately and just want to watch it now!!
I've read all the books but it sounds like this season will be going off a lot of stuff that aren't yet in the books or will come from book 6!
Also, there are some great GoT videos out there! This one from Key & Peele is my favorite! ( Spoilers if you watch this!!)

@aprild: ugh that final scene gave me nightmares. We had to stay up and watch another TV show before bed to try and get it out of my head. Sansa has gotten so much more interesting since she was a silly girl only interested in dreamy Prince Joffrey. I hope things turn around soon for her. DH though theon / reek was going to murder Ramsey. Which would have been awesome.

@Foodnerd81: Oh agreed! That would have been awesome! I'm getting confused on how I'm supposed to feel about Theon...I mean, they made me hate him, and for a while, I thought he was getting what he deserved (even though Ramsey is a nut job), but now I'm feeling sorry for him! And poor Sansa...

@Foodnerd81: That would have been nice! I always feel relief when a bad guy dies in the show. Ramsey is a horrible character. If I were Sansa, I would be planning my escape! Maybe that's what she'll do in the next episode. I remember a lady telling her she has friends who will help her.

Last night DH and I were discussing- who would the worse husband be, Ramsey or Joffrey? Horrible choices.

@Foodnerd81: I think Joffrey is worse, but I only say that because he had so much power. People were scared of him, and did whatever he told them to do. I don't think Ramsey has that power yet. He's a scary guy, but he's not a king.

@Foodnerd81: @aprild: I totally think Rasmey is worse because you can't really cater to his ego (except maybe his gf Miranda!). At least with Joffrey you could placate him with ego boosting and finding stuff his likes (ie Margery and the cross bow). Also in Kings Landing at least Sansa would be more visible to attending court, up North Rasmey could lock her away and her allies would have to fill out attack to get her!
I kept hoping she had a knife in her dress and she was going to slit his throat like in Gone Girl!! Then escape through Winterfell passages!!

@HTownMom: My husband agrees with you! They both sound pretty awful, so I could see how it could go either way. I think Ramsey might be easier to escape from than Joffrey though.

Wow!!! That episode was amazing and I was totally not expecting that huge fight! I think it's the only time I've ever talked to the TV saying things like "don't open the door", "get the dragonglass" and "run dammit"! Crazy stuff, love it!!

Then we were discussing whether Jon Snow can die. On most shows I would say of course not, since he is a main character, but GoT does not care about that! I think he is too pivotal to die for at least a long while but who knows. I haven't read past the first book.

@Mrs. Pickle: yeah those kids were way creepy! I'm surprised I didn't have any nightmares but I totally can't watch stuff like thenWalking Dead because I'm way too scared of it!
@Foodnerd81: I've read the books and all the online discussion and it's kind of up in the air if they would kill him or not! The show is deviating from the books so much that no one can really be sure!

That episode last night was SO GOOD!! I think that one, and last week’s episode were the strongest of the season so far.
I wonder how/if the show will impact GRRM’s writing of the last book. The series has totally deviated from the books, so at this point, he can either follow the show, or go his own way (which might be kind of weird?).

Such a good episode. Makes me sad there's only two more before we have to wait a whole year for more!

@JennyG: Only two more episodes!?! I bet it's going to end on a huge cliff hanger that will drive me bananas about having to wait a year to find out what happens. I'm so excited to see what Tyrion and Daenerys will do together!

I think I read somewhere that the directors knows exactly how he is going to end the books, so I guess they as long as they arrive to the same conclusion, taking different paths?

I haven't read past the first books and I did NOT see that coming. I really thought he was going to be a key figure. Trying to figure out how many characters we like are still alive. Besides the dragon crew... Not many.

@yoursilverlining: I read an interview with the actor this morning, and he said he's definitely dead! Not sure if things could change, but he seemed pretty certain he's not coming back.

@aprild: I don't doubt that he's dead dead, but this is a world where that doesn't necessarily mean dead dead for good dead, particularly if one has the presence of the red priestess. I would bet $100 that she hurried to back to Castle Black so she could work her voodoo magic on him.
