I love it! I read all of the books and am also really enjoying this new season and having no idea whats going to happen...

I feel like the only thing from the books still was the Greyjoy story, right? I know that part was familiar with the long lost brother or cousin or whatever coming back and becoming the new "king" of the iron isles...

I really like the way the Arya story is moving! I'm glad she is finally leaving those crazies, but curious how that will impact the future.

Margarey Tyrell (Tommen's wife) is playing them, right? with the holy business? seems a good card to play to try to beat Cersei....

Yes, I read all the books and am happy to not be comparing the books to the show as often anymore. It's been way more enjoyable. I also like that the plot seems to be moving a little faster this season. Some of the characters have been really great lately (loved Jaime and Brianne in the recent episode). I am sooo glad Aria's storyline is moving on. Sad for all the direwolves this season (and poor Hodor). I'm really hoping the Mereen storyline gets better now. Watching Tyrion try to chit chat with Greyworm and Missandei all season has been awful.

@hellobeeboston: Yeah, Margaery is definitely playing them. Let's hope it works out for her.

I'm loving this season!!! I also found the Arya thing dull, I'm glad they're moving on from that plotline!

I'm really enjoying this season...it's ending fairly soon, right? It definitely feels like things are ramping up for a big climax. I'm so bummed there's only 2 episodes left!

I only read the first book, but I'm so happy Dorne was left out this season (bored), that Arya is coming back (yay! the Stark kids are reuniting!), and that Bran is out of the tree-thing (RIP Hodor ). I've really enjoyed Sansa's character growth over the show the most. Girlfriend keeps getting knocked down and keeps getting back up.

@lovehoneybee: I was just thinking about how much Sansa has grown, remember how she was THE WORST at the beginning of the show? And now she's basically a badass, though I feel bad about what she has gone through.

Agree with others that it's so nice to be watching stuff I have not read in the books. Granted I read the books almost 6 years ago and I would forget a lot of the smaller plotlines but it's so fun to have it all be new!
@catlady: @ValentineMommy: It now is obvious to me that Arya wasn't really going to become 'No one.' Glad she figured that shit out haha.

I definitely have a sense of urgency when watching this season, any scene that doesn't really seem to be moving the plot forward (everything in Meereen, that scene between Pod and I forget his name last episode) I'm like ok let's get this show on the road!

@hellobeeboston: Yes, the drawing of the flower she gave her grandmother was definitely proof that her religious conversion is an act.

@hellobeeboston: I feel like it's not even feasible at this point. It's been several years (I think?) since the R.W. and we just saw Dondarrion so I can't see how they'd work it in. I was really hoping for it though!

@hellobeeboston: When I saw Dondarrion & Thoros, I got REALLY excited.... I would love to see the Stoneheart played out.

@Mrs. Chocolate: my husband is the same as you and doesn't like the changes too much! He likes to tell me practically scene by scene if HBO is being true to the books.

I haven't read the books (only the first one after the first season) and I'm liking the season a lot. The arya ply was getting pretty boring, then when she was in that last fight with the waif I was like, if we watched this whole stupid storyline and now she's just going to die I'm going to be so pissed. I'm bummed there are only two episodes left but I think they will both be good ones!

@petitenoisette: yes, Sansa definitely wins most improved! She sucked in the first season and she's awesome now.

OMG! Tonight's episode! I was seriously hiding my head under a blanket for half the episode because I couldn't handle the suspense. My heart was racing. I think that was one of the best episodes of the whole series.

This season has been really good.

I feel like I need a tranquilizer to sleep!

Potential spoiler, but I'll also try to be vague... I was really satisfied, if that's the right word, with the way the bad guy died toward the end. It was so poetic. But whew the whole episode was just so gruesome! And I know it's GoT and of course it's super violent, but I feel like my blood pressure was through the roof with this one.

I think I watched most of that through my fingers!

LAST NIGHTS EPISODE.... SO good... what is going to happen at the finale?!?!

I guess I am the only one who didn't love last night's episode! I don't really love the battle episodes though, and I thought that most of the stuff that happened was just really obvious. Ending was satisfying though (although I closed my eyes).

Very satisfying episode, lived up to the hype.

I will say, as someone who is very claustrophobic, that crowd scene with Jon was very physically uncomfortable to watch. It was starting to get hard to breathe.

Sansa is one of my favorites. She's had such an interesting character growth over the series, and I'm enjoying watching her now.

@catlady: me too! I watched most of it from behind my hands wishing it would be over. I couldn't deal with the smothering either. I know the battle was epic but could have done with a 5 second summary to spare me the fire!

@lovehoneybee: Yes, i really love how her character has evolved into someone really badass. I love how she started to turn away but instead watched Ramsay with a satisfied look on her face.

@MsMini: yes I'm really worried for her that she is pregnant!
