We just started and we're on S1 E5! So far I am really liking the Khal and Khalessi!
Does anyone know if I can watch it any where besides Netflix?

If you subscribe, it's on HBOGO. I had to stop - it got too violent and I couldn't take it anymore. I can only watch so many beheadings before bedtime.

I am basically obsessed with Game of Thrones. Read the books - they are so good!

We just bought the boxed sets off of Netflix. Now we have to wait a whole year until Season 3 comes out!
It is very violent... and I say it's basically porn with a storyline... but my husband and I read all the books so we're enjoying the show. It follows closely enough to the books to keep us happy but deviates enough to keep things interesting.

I have only seen season one and I really liked it. I haven't been able to get into the books though.

DH and I do! We love it!
@Honeybee: DH and I always look for the beginning where it says that there will be violence, language, etc. Every other episode there is nudity so far

@Honeybee: hahah yeah, when we watched the first episode we were shocked at the violence and sexual content. We didn't really know what it was about so it was like....WHOA!
I honestly thought it would be more LOTR! -
@Honeybee: We watch it on TV so that's why! I don't care either way but we just know that when an episode is pretty tame the next one is going to be a mini-porno lol

I watch it, but spend most of each episode shouting, "That didn't happen in the book!" at the tv. Drives DH crazy

@regberadaisy: I actually think they ramp it up in the second season. There's a couple scenes I couldn't even watch! But I'm also a wuss for gore.
