These two plants are growing around my tree among the flowers. Of course, I can't for my life remember if these are perennials I planted last year, or weeds that are huge and crazy.
This one is about 3 feet high
These are almost as tall as I am!

I'm glad this happens to other people!! I'd venture weed, but what if you wait until it blossoms to be certain?

I'd say the same .... But them again my Flowerbed has been taken over by weeds and it's frustrating! Maybe see if something happens to them?

Is it goldenrod? Not to be confused with ragweed... Goldenrod blooms in late summer the buds look lie they might have a yellow fringe about to pop out? There are a number of varieties, but Google images popped up some where the leaves looked similar.

they are weeds - the tall ones by the trees - they grow in my flower pots on the deck - no idea how they get there!

I have them too. I have one that has entangled itself in my azalea bush, so it's gonna take some work to remove it.

Weeds. I have the same one that pops up in my hydrangeas. It is very hearty and shoots up 5 inches overnight! I wish the things I planted were so strong!
