It is beautiful and gender neutral. My Mom mad DS a quilt with blue flowers all over it, I use it all the time

I think it's pretty neutral. If you're worried you could always use a masculine fabric for a border.

@MrsTiz: Actually it was very easy. I've been quilting since I was like 12 though. But it took me just a day to cut the fabric and sew it together. Very fun to make. And I can't do math so I have leftovers for 3 more quilts.
