LO outgrew her milk protein intolerance and, SO FAR, doesn't seem to have any severe allergies...knock on wood. She's had peanut butter, cheese, yogurt, and whole milk with no issues. She is of all European ancestry and is 12.5 months old.

ETA - specifically - my side is German, Irish, English, French, Dutch, Swedish, and Spanish. DH's side is Welsh, Irish, Russian, German, and Polish. There are no major food allergies on either side of the family.

Extra edit - she might have an allergy to eggs. She did have a skin reaction the last time she had them but she was also sick and teething so we have to try them again. She had eggs in the past with no issues.

Baby girl isn't here yet, but I'll answer for myself so I can follow as I am very interested in the answers you get. I currently have anaphylactic reactions to peanuts and tree nuts and also have a multitude of other allergies that are not currently life threatening, mostly fruits and legumes. To add to the mix, I also have celiac disease so I am fairly severely gluten intolerant. As a child, I was also severely allergic to milk and eggs, but I grew out of both of those between the ages of 6 and 10.
Family background: Father Jewish, mother Italian/German. No one related to me on either side has ever had an anaphylactic reaction to anything. My brother also has severe celiac disease, but no food allergies.

(Here's hoping baby girl gets her father's genetic material around allergies!)

We are a mix of: German, French, Irish, Scottish, Native American and probably more (those are the largest makeups of our genetics) - No food allergies in any of our families. DH does have moderate/severe allergies to non-food items though (pine trees, chlorine, animals, latex), but no one else in his family does.

When you say genetic, what do you really mean? Ethnicity? Race?
