So the next phone that will be out will be the 6S, not the 7. I'm not sure if you really meant whether you should wait for the 7 to come out, which will probably be 1.5 years from now.

Personally, I would get the 6/6+ now. The S models are always the same form factor with just minor changes. There won't be any major changes to the iPhone until the 7 comes out. I had a 4S previously and I waited more than 2 years to upgrade so I could get a 6+ instead of being on the "S" cadence every 2 years.

@jetsa: I have the 6 for work (and the 5 for personal) and I love the 6. Sleeker, a bit bigger screen without it being obnoxious, and nicer with the upgraded iOS. I had the option of getting the 6 or the 6+ for work and the 6+ just felt way too big. If you're into that, it might be good for you, but aside from the larger phone and display, that's the only other thing that differentiates it from the 6.

I voted 6. I have it after having the 5S previously, and the camera is better. I use my phone a lot for taking photos. DH initially also had the 6, but swapped it for a 6+ and he loves it. I thought he was crazy for wanting such a huge phone, but now it doesn't seem that large, so between the 6 and the 6+ I'd go for which size you like and is most comfortable to use. The camera on the 6+ is also better than the 6-- maybe that's why I now kind of want the bigger phone

I have a 5S right now and I am waiting for the next release.

I can't upgrade until February but I will get the Sept release phone. I always just have to have the latest and newest.

6+ is the perfect size! I use my phone as a tablet though, and do a lot of reading on it on the train. One less thing to carry by not lugging my iPad/kindle. DH has the 6, and I think his screen is too small!

@jetsa: what carrier has the $1? I wonder if this is in all areas too...great deal though.

There was a huge improvement between a 4 and a 4s.

I just got the 6 and I love it! The 6+ was too big for me.
