My MIL is being fabulously kind and buying me a haircut tomorrow. I've been needing one since before LO was born 12 weeks ago, so it's about time.

But I need advice. I'm such a chicken when it comes to getting my haircut, but I feel like I need a change. I don't want to go short. I grew up in a family of Old Regular Southern Baptists, so all the women always had long hair in my family. My mother, however, wasn't part of the church and she always kept her hair and my hair super, super short. So until I was 11 years old, I had hair at my ears and always hated it! haha.

I have a pretty high forehead (DH refers to it as a "billboard brow"...lovingly...of course >_>), so I've been thinking bangs. I really like Zooey Deschanel's bangs and was thinking maybe getting them cut like hers. And then maybe just getting my hair layered. DH and my BFF think it would look good, but I don't know. I self doubt a lotttt.
