How much do you generally spend on play group/school classmates/daycare birthday party gifts? We are just starting to go to play group birthday parties and wondering how much to spend? It can add up quickly I guess!

$50 for close friends $25 for acquaintances.

So far it's been around $35/40 for the bday parties weve been to.

I can always get a nice gift for about $35. We get invited to a lot of kids parties so I can't go too crazy.
