Finally! Apparently the announcement will be on Ellen tomorrow. What do we think will be the way she's written in? Is she now a celebrity/TV chef that only comes back to town for a visit?

@ChiCalGoBee: yay! I haven't heard much about the potential story lines but I hope she still lives in Stars Hollow and runs the kitchen at the inn. Maybe she has a tv show or tv gig on the side. I would love to see Sookie get some cred for her fabulous cooking skills!

I also saw the pictures that are coming out in this week's Entertainment Weekly! Looks like Rory might be teaching? Someone also posted pictures from a studio lot tour of the Chilyon set being used. That plus the picture of her standing at the front of the classroom in the magazine...Maybe she's back teaching at Chilton?

@lawbee11: It's so random that the story came out today if she delivered last fall!? So she has a 6-month-old. I'm amazed they kept it a secret for this long! Alexis Bledel actually seems like a pretty private person which I SO respect. Congrats to them:-).
Anyone on here listen to the Gilmore Guys Podcast? Thoughts?

@ChiCalGoBee: I listen to Gilmore Guys. I think I'd have liked it better in smaller doses, but I found out about it in January and have been binging during commutes since then (I've caught up to March 2016, on the interview with Taylor).
Sometimes the guys are a little grating, but overall I enjoy the different perspectives.
And they talked about Alexis being pregnant a while ago, so I don't think E online or Scott Patterson really "broke" the story. I just don't think anyone has wanted to make much of it until the revival was more in the news. Now they can't wait to talk about any character.

It looks like they released a teaser with Rory meeting Michelle Obama - I can't wait for the new episodes to come out. Alexis Bledel looks like she dropped any baby weight she gained. I love Lorelai's contribution to Michelle Obama's trip.

Anyone else feel like Alexis Bledel is a little off as Rory in this? I hate to scrutinize, and I know she's working with FLOTUS which I can only imagine is incredibly nerve-wracking, but she just didn't seem quite like the Rory I remember. The context is spot-on, but the delivery is a little...awkward?
Can I just say how much I love that Michelle Obama did this? I hope she is a huge GG fan

@ChiCalGoBee: yes - I totally agree - I thought the writing was great but Alexis didn't seem to be 100% comfortable as Rory. Hopefully it's just the teaser and she'll be more natural in the role when we see the episodes.
