So, I've been considering my options for a glider or a recliner. Our nursery is rather small so we are going to be putting the chair in our living room. I'm struggling with the thought of a glider as a practical purchase when a recliners are far more comfortable and multi-use.
Thoughts?

I love our glider. But different people like different things, so if you want a recliner you should get it!

I think we're going to go with a gliding recliner (lol). I love the gliders at BRU, but the exposed mechanisms make me so, so nervous. I know that's a slightly irrational fear, but I also want to get something that we could use in the living room later on.

We already have a really comfortable recliner that rocks so we are just using that. I am going to get a small foot stool or ottoman though to go with it so I can have my feet up and still rock.

We have a glider/recliner and I do love it, but really didn't use it as much as I thought. It's rather huge and taking up a ton of space in our living room. I think DH used it more for himself without LO.

I love our Lazy Boy recliner in our living room, it is big, soft, and overstuffed. I can easily sleep in it and be comfortable if we have a cranky baby that needs to be rocked. There are more times than I care to admit that I have passed out in it with the baby and woken up hours later- it is so big that I feel safe sleeping with him there. Every morning we take a nap in the recliner, I look forward to this cuddle time every day!
