I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything baby related until later, but technically a glider can be used outside of the nursery, right? Anyway, I found a great deal on a glider with ottoman that I love. The only thing that stops me is that perhaps a glider-recliner would be better, both for space reasons and for comfort. What do you think, ladies?

I say glider with footrest/ottoman! I always rock in our glider and I love having the footrest

We just use our Lazy Boy rocking recliner. None of the gliders I tried out were as comfortable or useful for our space, and they were just as expensive.

We have recliner couches and a glider with ottoman. I prefer the glider and ottoman. Sometimes putting the recliner part down wakes the baby! But both are nice at different times.

I have a glider with ottoman. I got one that was fully upholstered and sort of looks like a regular recliner. It's super comfy and roomy. I figured I can move it to the office after I'm done with it in the nursery and it won't look too babyish.

I love our glider with ottoman. I can put my feet up and rock at the same time, which you can't do with most recliners. I also feel like I could stand up without waking M, rather than make a big noise putting the footrest down.
