So the 3-2 nap transition has been a real pain lately. Baby Y usually takes a decently long morning nap of at least 1.5 hours, sometimes 2.5. But his afternoon nap is usually still short -- 45 minutes max.
Right now, for example, he is whining in his crib. He woke up 10 minutes ago after sleeping for only 35 minutes. So either I have to move bedtime way up to no later than 6 (when I have tried this before he has resisted) or get him to take a catnap in a couple of hours, which he often resists, too. And I'm tired of driving him around at 4:30 or 5 in order to keep bedtime normal.
Any advice?
