For a late June/early July baby, should the outfit be long sleeves/pants or short sleeves/shorts? It will be hot outside but will it still seem cold to baby being out of the womb?

I would say something with long sleeves and pants...you'll probably going right from an air conditioned hospital to an air conditioned car...plus babies can't regulate their temperature.

J came home in a short sleeved outfit, it was like 102* though, so long sleeves would have been a lot
We only had to go about 6 blocks from the hospital to our house though!

We had a thin cotton long-sleeved onesie and pants for our late June baby, and a muslin AA blanket. It was a long drive for us and of course we had the a/c on in the car.

I had an early August baby and brought him home in a light long sleeve onesie with an A&A muslin swaddle. Depending where you live, you'll have the AC on do you want them to stay warm

My lo was in a short sleeve onesie. We kept a hat on her and had a blanket if needed.

I would do a lightweight cotton piece with long-sleeves and the fold-over mittens. K was such a scratcher, those mittens were so necessary! I would suggest a kimono top with a onesie or pants.

We just did a cotton little shirt/dress type thing, it was 95 degrees out and our apartment had been closed up with no AC on, so she was fine! We brought a little blanket with.
